Appendix A: Statement of Work
Objective
The goal of this engagement is to consolidate your Taiwan employee payment flow through Worca,
eliminating the complexity of managing international payroll directly. With Worca as your payment
partner, your involvement is streamlined to two simple steps: set up ACH auto-pay and review your
monthly invoice.
Scope of Services
Worca will provide the following services for your Taiwan-based employees:
Payroll Processing
- Calculate and process monthly payroll for all designated Taiwan employees.
- Manage local tax withholdings and statutory contributions as required by Taiwan regulations.
- Handle currency conversion from USD to TWD at competitive market rates.
Compliance Management
- Ensure all payments comply with Taiwan labor laws and tax requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for local regulatory purposes.
- Provide year-end tax documentation as needed.
Important: Tax return filing service is NOT included in this scope.
Client is responsible for the tax filing responsibility.
Payment Execution
- Disburse salaries directly to employee bank accounts in Taiwan.
- Process payments on a consistent monthly schedule.
- Handle any payment-related inquiries from employees.
Client Responsibilities
Client's role is intentionally minimal:
Initial Setup (One-Time)
- Provide employee information (names, bank details, compensation amounts)
- Set up ACH auto-pay with Worca for seamless monthly billing
Ongoing (Monthly)
- Review and approve the monthly invoice from Worca
- Notify Worca of any changes to headcount or compensation
That's all. Worca handles everything else.
Deliverables
Each month, Worca will provide:
- Detailed invoice showing employee payroll breakdown
- Confirmation of successful payment disbursement
- Updated headcount reconciliation
Timeline
Services will commence upon execution of this engagement letter and continue on a month-to-month
basis as outlined in the Worca Global Contractor Payment Terms. The first payroll cycle is expected
to be 2026-02-01 to 2026-02-28 unless otherwise specified in written communications.
